SOUND THE ALARM
Joel 2:1 "Blow the trumpet in Zion, Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the Lord is coming, For it is at hand."
Sound The Alarm is our biggest Annual Youth & Young Adult conference. It gathers several hundreds of Youth and Young Adults every year. This generation is in desperate need for a great spiritual awakening! God is raising up A generation of Forerunners that are turning to Jesus with all their Heart, Mind, Soul & Strength!
Reasons for Sounding an Alarm: some of the physical & natural reasons for Sounding an Alarm are synonymous for Sounding A Spiritual Alarm!
(1) When a rule or law is violated in the natural, or when there is an interruption of normality, an Alarm is sounded. For instance, when there is a fire or smoke in a building, it triggers an Alarm to go off, because something that was normal was interrupted. The same is with a Tornado or storm. Whenever there is a coming storm, you will hear a loud Alarm sound from the Emergency Broadcast System warning people that something normal is interrupted. SO WHEN GOD SOUNDS AN ALARM, IT'S BECAUSE WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE NORMAL IN HIS EYES (Holiness, Righteousness, Prayer, etc) HAS BECOME ABNORMAL!
(2) A second reason to physically Sound An Alarm is WAKE PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR SLEEP! Most people need Alarms every single day to get them up out of their night time sleep so they can go about their business throughout the day. In the same way, Spiritually, God wants to SOUND THE ALARM to a generation that has fallen spiritually Asleep to WAKE THEM UP TO PASSIONATELY LIVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY FOR JESUS!
This is what we seek to accomplish at our Annual SOUND THE ALRM CONFERENCES! Thousands have come the to this conference and have been totally set free from all kinds of bondage and awakened to live totally abandoned to Jesus. We've seen entire ministries resurrected as a result of what the Lord has done in these Sound The Alarm conferences.
